About Brenda Mills

Inspiration and Rewards

I started my journey of helping others as a Student Nurse, and a Mental Health Support worker at hospitals in East Lancashire. I have worked in Health and Social Care for many years as a Project Development worker, a Mental Health Carer Support worker, Befriender and Carer, and come into contact with many people of all age groups. I am able to relate well to most people, and have empathy and understanding.

I have a passion to help people overcome fear, anxiety and self-doubt, in order to reach their goals and desires for their lives. Providing life coaching in a professional way.

Client Success Story

I supported a lady when I worked as a Carer Support worker, who was caring for her partner who had mental health problems, and she was unwell herself. I encouraged her to access extra help and social opportunities, and her caring capabilities increased, and her own health improved.

Unique Approach to Life Coaching

My approach to Life Coaching is working with Person Centred Therapy, to empower people to recognise their own strengths, to set realistic goals for themselves, to encourage them to achieve them, and help them to grow in confidence.

What makes Life Coaching unique is the diverse ways in which a coach can help clients reach their potential.

Staying Up-To-Date

I read articles on Coaching websites, liaise with other coaches, attend seminars and undertake Continued Professional Development to stay at the top of my profession.
